Biography

A Kansas native with family in the greater Kansas City area, I was born and raised in Leavenworth. A proud Pioneer, I graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1987. My involvement with building trades in Leavenworth prompted me to obtain my drafting degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1991. My love of residential real estate led me to relocate to Lawrence to study architecture at the University of Kansas.

After working in the residential design and construction business, I decided to combine my knowledge of residential construction with my desire to help people by becoming a real estate agent. Thus the Wizard of Real Estate was born.

My wife, Cindy, is employed at the University of Kansas. My two munchkins are enrolled in the Lawrence Public School system and I am actively involved in their PTA/PTO and site council. I also am involved in the Lawrence Schools Equity Council, Lawrence NAACP 2nd Vice President, Chair of the Lawrence NAACP Economic Development, Housing, Labor, and Industry Committee, a member of the board of Habitat for Humanity and a member of the Lawrence Alliance Council, and sports activities including volunteer coaching. I do these activities to give back to the community that I feel has given so much to me. Two dogs round out our immediate family.

My favorite things to do when not helping you buy or sell a home include spending time with my family, working on model cars, playing video games, watching college football and, of course, cheering on the Jayhawks!

Contact me by email for all of your residential real estate needs. I look forward to making your home dreams come true!
